The Leadership section is your ensemble's institutional memory.
What it tracks
Positions across three groups: artistic (music director, conductors), board (president, treasurer, secretary), and operations (librarian, equipment manager). Each records the person's name, start date, end date, and notes (elected, interim, founding…).
Current vs. past
Positions without an end date are current and shown prominently. When someone's term ends, set the end date and the record moves to history, so five years from now you can answer "who was president in 2026?"
Notes
- Position holders can be linked to a member record, or just entered by name (useful for non-member board members).
- Leadership titles are a registry, not a permission system. To give someone admin access to BandBliss, use Settings → Team Access.
